About Us
¿Quiénes somos?
Our Name
When choosing a name, we wanted it to reflect our commitment to valuing children's self expression and encouraging their voices to be heard. In Spanish, "Pío Pío" is the sound that a chick makes! You might recognize the phrase from the traditional Spanish lullaby, "Los pollitos dicen."
Our Class Size
A small class size and low student-to-teacher ratio in Early Childhood classrooms allow for greater individual attention to young learners, thus helping them to develop their language, social-emotional, problem solving, and cognitive reasoning skills at a faster rate. We are proud to offer a 6-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Certified Wildlife Habitat® - National Wildlife Federation - Our sustainable outdoor learning environment uses rain barrels for water collection, while our 6 large garden beds attract a multitude of local and migrative wildlife throughout the year that the children delight in observing, exploring, and caring for, while also providing them with a constant source of inspiration for lines of inquiry in our Emergent Curriculum.
